The “Salvation” booklet was designed to be a small mailing booklet that could be purchased
individually and/or in bulk so people and churches could reach their local communities with the Gospel. Individual copies can be purchased and downloaded from our website, or paper copies can be ordered and shipped. Churches that would like to purchase booklets in bulk can contact our organization for pricing. We do our best to keep prices affordable so that no one will be overwhelmed with financial costs and will choose to utilize our program.
Once a church decides to participate in our booklet-mailing program to reach their communities, the number of booklets needed for purchase is based on current mailing list data on the number of households and PO Boxes in the said city/county/parish. It is also suggested churches order extra copies to be distributed by hand at nursing homes, assisted living homes, jails, etc.
Mailing lists for each area can be purchased from online vendors. Compass 17.3 handles this aspect; the price to purchase a mailing list is included in our final pricing. The US Postal Service does not sell mailing lists or keep track of addresses.
Since Compass 17.3 is a 501(c)(3), nonprofit postage fees are included in the final price. Postage fees for nonprofits are offered at a highly discounted rate when compared to regular postage rates. Our nonprofit mailing permit number and PO Box address will appear on the back cover of each booklet.
The back inside cover of our booklets can be amended to include your church’s information (meeting times, programs offered, contact information, etc.).
“Salvation" booklets make great evangelistic tools to be used in Sunday Schools, new Christian classes, discipleship training, mission trips, etc. If you wish to order copies of the booklet to be distributed at churches, community events, VBS, concerts, etc., you may do so, but they will be blank on the outside back cover. Booklets cannot be placed inside, secured with a flag or hung in bags on ANY mailboxes in ANY way without proper postage. All mailboxes are considered federal property even when placed on a home or in a homeowner’s yard/right-of-way. It is ILLEGAL to use a mailbox for anything other than mail delivery that contains prepaid, cancelled postage.
The cost of the booklets, the mailing list, nonprofit postage, applicable tax, shipping (if any), and a suggested donation fee for our nonprofit is included in the final price. Compass 17.3 takes care of everything for you, from the ordering of the booklets, the purchase of the mailing list, and so on. Once you place your order, we take care of the rest!
It can take from a few days to a few weeks depending on our printing company and any shipping options.
Before the booklets are mailed, it is requested that each church have a designated time of consecration, fasting and prayer for those in their community. Churches can also have prayer walking/driving teams that go out and pray over their communities. This does not have to be a loud, public display of prayer but a time of quiet, God-focused prayer of church and/or community members who long to see souls changed by the Gospel. If God can use a donkey to get a man’s attention (Numbers 22), He can use a booklet to open people’s hearts to Jesus. Even if people choose not to read the booklets, they will never be able to say, “I never had a chance to hear the Gospel.”
God has promised us in Isaiah 55:10-11, “As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.”
We most go forward with this goal in mind: “ Therefore, my dear brothers, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.”—1Corinthians 15:58
